A while ago, a kind pastor and his wife in New Mexico took us to a zoo. The pastor had worked there designing the rock formations and such years before, so he knew it quite well. It was a fun day and I also got to practice taking pictures. ;)
The first thing we saw as we came in the zoo was the flamingos.

We then went in to a warm building that had parahnas, some birds, and even some small very active monkeys.
Then we went to a different building that had a Komodo dragon.

.....It also had a lot of different snakes.
I took this one of a rattlesnake.

Victoria took this of a python. (Those were big snakes!)

I don't remember the name of this snake, but it had something to do with moss. ;)

There was a snake from Mexico, that I read the name as Milk Shake. It was actually a milk snake. ;D
Then we saw the two crocodiles from windows high above them.

Victoria got this picture of the bald eagle.

She also took these pictures of the golden eagle.

Next were the wolves. Josiah was really happy to see them and one of them decided to do a perfect pose for me. :)

The polar bear was hilarious! The one kept pacing back and forth, back and forth. It would look at you and then turn around. It seemed as if it knew you wanted to take a picture of it, yet it didn't look too happy. :D

The other polar bear, I caught in the middle of a yawn. :D

There were some wild cats, but most of them were sleeping. So I didn't take any pictures of them. And the others were gone because of it being winter.
Victoria thinks this kangaroo's face is hilarious and I agree. ;)

This was the Aussie building. Which had some birds, a koala, a kookaburra, and a couple others I don't remember. ;)
The kookaburra. Daddy got it to laugh at him! I was really happy that I got to hear it. :D

The giraffes. This one was funny. It kept striding back and forth, like the polar bear. Except this giraffe looked all high and mighty. :D

Giraffes are an amazing creature!

The elephants. There was a little baby one too!

This picture Victoria took. I think it's the best picture of all. :)

(The train wasn't going that day. ;) )

I hope you have a good day!
